Farmer Profile
Cintia and her daughter Ana Rubia are members of APAS – The Alto da Serra
Producers’ Association. They are also part of Flowers in Action, a project to empower
female farmers. Cintia worked as a coffee picker before getting married to a coffee
farmer. She then took the challenge of being a female farmer herself.
“I am a dreamer, I have big plans for the future and I want to grow as a producer. I’m
always searching for knowledge that can be applied at the farm. I need to encourage
my daughter to follow my steps”. Ana Rubia is really enthusiastic and that’s why her
mother has dedicated this micro-lot to her.
