Huehuetenango Regional Selection This regional blend was produced by various smallholder farmers in the Huehuetenango region in northern Guatemala. The producers here typically own a couple of hectares for growing coffee, and wet-process and dry the coffee on their own land. They dry the clean parchment in the sun on small patios. Growers process their coffee themselves since centralized wet mills are very unusual in the region. Once the coffee is dry enough, the producers try to find the best selling price for their beans.

Farm Information
Pablo Chuy is a third-generation coffee farmer. Linda Vista was originally developed by his grandfather after relocating from China. There are about 25 full-time workers and 50-75 during the harvest.
Accommodation, amenities, general medical and transport benefits are provided for workers. It is highly regarded in the area due to its efforts in reforestation, water conservation and development of the local community, such as medical and school programs. They assist nearby producers by buying and processing their coffees in their wet-mill.
