Eastern region of Burundi in a area with an average altitude 1500 to 1700masl. The weather is
ideal for processing top quality specialty coffee. The area is famous for tourism due to

Bean Grading
“Excelso” is the common grading term for exportable coffee from Colombia – it is not related to the varietal or to the cupping profile.
Colombian coffee is graded according to bean size: Supremo and Excelso beans are harvested from the same coffee trees, but they are sorted by size. Excelso coffee beans are large, but slightly smaller than Supremo coffee beans with a 15/16 screen size compared to 17/18 for Supremo Excelso accounts for the greatest volume of coffee exported from Colombia

about the producer
tthis delicious coffee is produced by small farm holders from Tablón de Gomez in Nariño located at 1950 m.a.s.l in the department of Narino which is located in Southwest Colombia, bordering Ecuador. Coffee in Nariño is grown at elevations that reach 2,200 metres . This region is characterized by its very mountainous topography and its cold climate which is perfect for slow cherry maturation that leads to a sweeter and more complex cup. We work with farmers that we work with belong to the Terra association and Cafes Especiales de Nariño Cooperative.
