about Sao Bento Farm

Sao Bento is yet another great coffee by Ismael Andrade – Sao Bento is an UTZ and BSCA certified farm located in the High Cerrado region, Minas Gerais state, south-eastern Brazil producing high quality sustainable beans by using eco-friendly processes, in an area which provides ideal conditions for growing coffee due to its perfect balance of wet and dry seasons

The Red Catuai varietal (a compact plant with high yielding potential) is low in acidity. This varietal produces a well-balanced, full-bodied coffee with the distinctive deep notes of caramel and a long-lasting chocolate aftertaste.

The farm is also part owned by long-time partner Ismael Andrade, a renowned farmer who was the Cup of Excellence Champion in 2018. Ismael continues the family history which began in 1901
